Cool Toy Photography Ideas For Beginners

One of the cool reasons why adults are into toy collecting is the beauty of toy photography. Of all the many subjects we can use in photography, why use toys?

Toys like action figures have always been a representation of the characters that kids and adults have always admired. It's the best way to bring these characters to life in a way that you can hold them, manipulate them, or simply remind you how awesome they are.

Toy photography enhances the physical value of toys by revealing its true colors, articulation and most of all the artistic ability in each one of us-and the way to bring out these creative imaginations is to capture the actions, the right light or shadows and the story we want to tell through our toys.

Most adults don't play like kids with their toys but instead they delight themselves in doing cool poses with their action figures. Usually creative toy collectors would customize their toy ships and action figures with new paints, additional accessories or make a diorama for it.

Basically toys have always been a way to cheer or entertain a child and that brings them instant joy! The same goes with toy photography. Every time you see one you get that child-like feeling of excitement, admiration, fun, humor and calmness.

For me when someone takes a toy photo, he or she is in good mood. Now this good feeling can radiate back to the viewers of their photo. Try looking at toy galleries at Instagram or flickr and see what I mean.

Want to cheer someone up? You might want to try toy photography.

So let's begin by exploring these cool toy photography ideas and observe how they did it.

How to Buy Toys From the US and Ship to the Philippines

Have you been looking for a better way to purchase toys online from the US and have them delivered to your doorstep in the Philippines?

Traditionally we have relied to our local postal services to do the job but it usually take 30 to 45 days until you get a parcel claim notification. Unfortunately sometimes they never arrive for unknown reasons. It’s true. It happened to me twice already.

Buying Toys Online Simple Guide

Probably you are looking for a particular toy collectible that isn’t available in your local toy stores. If hope is gone, why not try looking online? Now there are two kinds of online shopping and that is buying online locally and internationally.

Buying online locally means searching for toy items that are being sold online by local sellers who lives in your country. For example if you live in Manila, you can try shopping at websites like olx.ph, ebay.ph, GreatToysOnline and more.

Now there are also facebook pages that you can add to your list who also sell toys online and accept preorders. Some facebook pages are Kramer Toy Warden, Big Boys Toy Store, Sonny’s Toy Art, Land orys, Lanz Collectibles and GreatToysOnline.  If you found an item that interests you, you have the option to have it ship to your doorstep, pick them up from their store branches or do meet up with the seller.

Why Adults Are Into Toy Collecting?

Do you sometimes feel awkward when you’re in a shopping mall and you tell your wife you're going to the toy store? Or do your co-workers make fun of you when they saw dozens of toys in your room?

Actually there are lots of reasons why big boys and girls are still into toys nowadays. And one main reason is toy collecting.

Now why do people collect? It’s a sense of accomplishment, the beauty of completing things from different sources and the manner it was acquired. It also gives someone a feeling of luckiness when they bought something rare and cheap.
