After the release of the Star Wars vehicles Titanium Series last 2015, comes another awesome line of Star Wars helmets in sixth scale. They're diecast material and yeah, they're heavy!
Number 03 is Darth Vader + Stormtrooper and what a great combo. I rushed to Toy Kingdom and Toys 'R Us but didn't get lucky. When I was about go home, I remember there's a toy store near Ace Hardware, Viramall and gave it a try. This time I got lucky!
As you can see the packaging is great and you can leave the helmets inside for display but you can appreciate it more if you take the helmets out since the glares in the plastic hinders the view of the helmets.
Darth Vader measures 3.2" tall with the transparent plastic base. There's a Star Wars logo carved in the center of the base that ain't easy to see from a distance. I still like the idea of using transparent bases because it creates a floating illusion on the helmets. Let me add that you can tilt the helmet up and down to a limit.
Vader's helmet dome is glossy and the rest are painted matte black. As you can see the eye lens are dark-brown shaded that captures the ANH version of the helmet. Sculpt and paint job is very neat. If I'm not mistaken, Vader's Titanium mini helmet almost looks like that of Sideshow's 6th Scale version.

The dome is removable! This adds more details to the overall sculpt but I wish they have revealed the after-burned skin from behind the head. Nice paint job too on the inner mechanical parts of the helmet. Another thing is the dome doesn't hold well in place that may fall off easily so I needed to place some blu-tak on the tip of the head.
Vader's Stormtrooper measures 2.9" tall with the base. It's painted glossy white and the sculpt should have been perfect if not because of the eye lens! It's too large and he looks like have seen a naked female Twi'lek Jedi Master. I also wish that they have somehow tinted the eye lens with green like those in ANH version.
Quite disappointing because it's bundled with Darth Vader that is almost perfect but failed to meet the consistency of the package.
Moving along, the paint job is also neat. If you look closer, even in small details, you can see the paint outlines are straight and complete. I like the grays with the black outline on the cheeks, the back and on the ear portions.
Nice details on the chin especially on the mic tips. Zooming in you can see the details on the mic grills. Awesome! Overall sculpt is great because it's close to the asymmetrical features of the Stormtrooper helmets on the big screen.
The plastic base are locked on the helmet and have no idea if they can be detached. It would be better if they could be detached for the fun of wearing them on some action figures.
Final Thoughts:
I recommend the Black Series Darth Vader + Stormtrooper diecast helmets who wants to at least have a Star Wars helmet collection. This is a great alternative for the pricey 1:1 Star Wars helmet because it's much cheaper and easier to display on your shelves. It's tougher because it's diecast and not too bad on the sculpt.
I gave 10/10 for Darth Vader helmet while 8/10 for the Stormtrooper helmet. I believe that the 03 Titanium series set will be a hot pick in toy stores so be be alert and let the force flow in you. Happy toy hunting.
