The Toy Collector Getup

Toy Collectors Philippines

When I usually go to toy conventions or go toy hunting at malls, I never fail to observe my fellow toy collectors how they usually dress up and I can tell anyhow if he is one. Here I have listed some usual getups to help you identify a toy collector so it would be easier to approach them in meetup transactions.

This article is just for fun based on my observations and who knows it could also be your fashion guide if you want to look cool yet comfortable at the same time.

I wish I could get professional photos of various toy collectors in their getups but I have no budget for their talent fee. Joke! So with the help of Sims 4, a role-playing game, I was able to create some household characters. Well of course it's limited to the available dresses and accessories of the game but somehow depicts a toy collector getup. So here they are.

You will notice that simplicity is what they want. The need to be able to walk freely while shopping. They don't like too much of layered clothing to combat heat. Jeans and short pants should have pockets, the many the better. Wrist watches and wrist bands are in also. Oh not to mention silver necklaces can compliment their shirts.

Shirts: Round or v-necks, printed shirts of superheroes and scifi characters, polo shirts

Pants: Jeans and shorts

Shoes: Varies from slippers, sneakers, boat shoes and rubber shoes. Socks are becoming obsolete.

Favorite colors: Shades of black, blue, white and red.

Hairstyles: Windy hairstyles, bald or semi-bald, long hairs (wavy or ponytail).

Bags: Knapsacks, shoulder bags (large enough to carry toys)

Gadgets: Cellphones, digicams, mp3 players

Head wears: Caps, headphones, beanies

Top 5 Ways to Spot a Toy Collector:

1. Carries a shoulder bag or knapsack
2. Loves black
3. Wears a T-shirt
4. In walking shorts
5. Wears a cap

Tips to look better with your toy hunting getup:

1. Comb your hair
2. Proper hygiene and that includes taking a bath before you get out.
3. Iron your dress shirt
4. Use some facials for oil control
5. Proper diet and exercise

I want to emphasize the last tip-diet and exercise. The presence of large tummies is becoming common and maybe the product of lack of physical activities and I can't think of anything that burns fat out of enjoying your precious toys. Well walking in malls, yeah maybe, but I think it ain't enough.

Toy collecting is more enjoyable when you know you look good and healthy inside.
