Adventure Time Invades McDonald's PH

Recently my wife was asking me to accompany her to McDonald's to check out their new Happy Meal featuring Cartoon Network's Adventure Time. I was not a big fan of McDonald's Happy Meal items until I got a chance to try out the Jake and Finn toy figures.

Oh mind you, it was for my daughters not mine! When they asked me to open the happy meal box, I already admired the paint job. By the way, the box comes with a cut and fold papercraft so be sure to check it out. Paint job looks nice as compared to the original Adventure Time figures by Jazwares. I think these variants can lineup with the 6 inch scales when you consider Finn to a boy's height.

Another nice about these toy figures is that the legs and arms are bendable like there's a wire inside of them. Jake has no problem standing up since he has four legs. Jake? Hmm... you have to be patient with him to get that stable pose since his shoes are small and the backpack is contributing to the overall weight of this figure. But what are buddies for? Above you can see Finn have to hold Jake to be able to stand. Well that's real friendship!

Here are other variants you can get from McDonald's Happy Meal toys. Below is the Spring Into Action Jake, Channel Changin BMO and Sword Swingin Finn.

If you are just a beginner in toy photography, the Adventure Time gang is a very nice subject because of their simple yet artistic and vivid colors. You can get these Happy Meals with toys ranging from P89 to P120.

Below is a complete list of the Adventure Time toys offered by McDonalds PH.

2. Bendable Finn

I wonder what would be the next Happy Meal toys? If you'll ask me of course I'll propose Star Wars toys! Hey that's a great timing for the long-awaited movie-The Force Awakens. Anyway, good job to McDonald's and hope you continue to make more quality and affordable toys in the future.
